Should I choose wired or Wi-Fi cameras?
Wired PoE cameras are the most reliable: one cable carries power and video, they don't drop off Wi-Fi, and they record continuously to a local NVR. Wi-Fi cameras are quicker to install and fine for a few views, but depend on signal strength and often batteries or subscriptions.
Where is footage stored? What is an NVR?
An NVR (network video recorder) is a small box with a hard drive that records your cameras locally — typically weeks of footage depending on camera count and settings. No cloud subscription is required, though cloud backup is available on many systems.
Can I watch my cameras from my phone?
Yes. Every install includes remote viewing setup on your phone, tablet or computer, plus motion alerts. We walk you through the app before we leave.
Can I put cameras in my Airbnb or vacation rental?
Airbnb bans indoor security cameras in listings. We install exterior-only systems covering entries, driveways and parking, and recommend disclosing all exterior cameras in your listing. Check your platform's current rules and local ordinances.
Will cameras hold up to salt air and coastal storms?

How long does installation take?
A doorbell or a couple of Wi-Fi cameras usually takes 1–2 hours. A 4-camera wired system is typically a single day; 8 cameras or a business system may take one to two days.
